So, Korkeasaari is a great place and organization that has brought joy to people for many years and also does a good job at protecting endangered species.
Korkeasaari could do a better job with their websites and advertising, but some things are good as they are. For example, the Youtube channel is great, watching those cuddly creatures makes you want to go to Korkeasaari! The wikipedia article is good, interesting and helpful and so is the page on tripadvisor.
Homepage is really good for a Finnish speaking person, but if you'd like to get for instance information of the species living in Korkeasaari in English, you're not going to find anything.
Altogether, what we think Korkeasaari should do to get their visibility better:
1. They should do their own Facebook page as soon as possible! Hundreads of millions of people use Facebook, what better place for advertising could there be?
2. Improve their homepage so that there's more information for the English speaking people also.
Your blog is looks nice and it is easy to read! You also made some good points how Korkeasaari already use social media. Do you think that Korkeasaari could use for example blogging as a part of their marketing plan? Maybe they also should improve their Wikipedia sites specially the English one. We definitely agree that they should create a facebook page as soon as possible. Facebook is probably the easiest way to inform visitors about opening hours and different events and so on. :)
